If you can't select Set as Default, then your iCloud Mail account is already the default account. Choose your iCloud Mail account from the list, then select Set as Default. On the Info tab, select Account Settings. However, Microsoft 365 has never been compliant with German law in the last years. To make iCloud Mail the default account, follow these steps in Outlook 2010 or later: Go to File > Account Settings. I'm pretty sure that changing this setting for the users and synchronising my private emails to the cloud is against German law. The emails should only be in the cloud when I allow this. If your account uses the setting then you need to delete the account and add it back!
